Studio Space for Rent in Beautiful Lanark Highlands
This summer, the MERA Schoolhouse (McDonalds Corners Elphin Recreation & Arts) is opening its doors to potters, weavers & other artists looking for a rural experience to work on their creative ventures.
For $50 a day you can rent the MERA schoolhouse and its equipment. Weekly rentals are encouraged. If you wish to have a group of people, the cost will be negotiated at the time of registration.

Fully functional studio for wheel throwing, hand building & sculpture, clay is $50 per box and is Tuckers 650 (sorry, you cannot bring your own clay for contamination reasons). One of the MERA potters will do an introduction session with you on the first day, after that, the space is yours to create. Please note, firing is not included in this cost. The space can accommodate several potters.
A sun filled, well equipped weaving studio with 36”, 45” and 60” counter-marche and jack looms. No instruction provided. Bring you own materials. The space could accommodate 2 or three weavers.
