A vernissage will be held Sunday October 17 between 2:00pm  & 4:00pm.

Bio/Artist Statement

I am a full time acrylic painter presently residing in Ottawa. I was trained as a commercial artist and as a career I designed and created commercial signage for many years. I am represented by Orange Art Gallery in Ottawa and ADJA Studio & Gallery in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. I am one of the teaching artists at Orange Gallery where I offer a course in architectural storefronts.

My studio is my sanctuary, full of light, music and peace. My paintings are comprehensive and detailed.

My art is liminal, a threshold through different realities. I want to be transparent so I shine the light on both my triumphs and my struggles.

I look for, and paint the sacred details that exist in and through everything. I want to invite you to see with me the depth and detail of contemplative mystery.
