The 17th Annual MERA Christmas Fair is November 23rd from 9 am to 3 pm at the MERA Schoolhouse located in McDonalds Corners. Come out to support local artisans, have a wonderful treat from the Wizards Café and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
This year’s juried show includes Fine Chocolate by Ludwig, Art by Greta McDonald, handwoven women’s clothing by Heather Sherratt, felted creatures by Rosie Kotze, Jewellery designs by PJ Wilson, woodworking by George Fisher, turned wood by Ron Jones, Christmas creations by Heather Vriends, Barb’s Homemade Jams, authentic Appalachian-style brooms by Raphael Kerem, handweaving by the MERA Heritage Weavers and, in the pottery studio downstairs, don’t miss the selection of work by the MERA Potters.
The MERA Room will be filled with handmade items donated by the fibre & glass artists of MERA and other members with 100% of the proceeds going to MERA.
