The Grief Café with Laurie Clark begins next month and continues the last Thursday of every month July to December. 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM in Dean Hall. Serving freshly foraged tea and treats from the Elphin Bakery
Circle conversations for all ages willing to share their personal grief stories dealing with loss:
Loss of a loved one, loss of health, loss of elderly dying alone, grand parents isolated from grand children, loss of contact with family and friends, loss of a pet companion, loss of contact with family, isolated teenagers, loss of employment and/or loss of education.
The intention of MERA Grief Cafe is to bring community together to move gracefully through the healing process following this profound shared disruption to our lives over the past couple of years.
Each individual is the expert of their own personal Grief Story. Through sharing our personal grief story and through active witnessing others’ story; we will gain wisdom through empathy, mourning and gratitude. Families welcome.
