An exhibition of street and landscape photography

Hugh is a photographer based in Gatineau, Quebec, with an interest in documentary work and environmental portraiture centered on human connection.
He works in both digital and traditional analog formats.

While largely self-taught, he has taken courses at several institutions and studied with 2023 Prix Pictet short-listed photographer Siân Davey and Toronto-based multi-disciplinary artist Lyla Rye.

Hugh has participated in numerous group exhibitions and held several solo exhibitions of his work.
He was awarded Best Figurative [portraiture] at Dark Room 4.0, a juried group exhibition of analog photography held by the 918 Bathurst Centre for Culture, Arts, Media, and Education at the 2015 Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival.
