MERA Art Circle is open to all!
Perhaps you are a visual artist looking for a new environment to stimulate your creativity? Or, now that you have more time, you're looking to get back into creating art again. Or maybe you just want to try something new and creative and have fun.
Then, MERA's Art Circle is for you!
Come and join us, whether you are a beginner or more experienced. All that you require is an interest in being creative and a MERA membership. Each attendee is required to bring their own paints, brushes and materials. Be sure to bring your laughter and sense of play too!
The Art Circle meets most Fridays during the year, with a break in July and August. All sessions start at 10:00 am and generally end at noon. Be prepared to learn from and be inspired by what others in the group are working on. There is plenty of time to work on your own piece and also trade ideas and techniques with others in a casual way.
Most years, the Art Circle presents a month long art show at MERA displaying a delightful variety of works. Each sale gives 20% of the purchase price to MERA to help keep the doors open. As well, some members have held individual art shows during the year in Dean Hall.
