The Annual MERA Christmas Fair returns this year! Please join us at the MERA Schoolhouse (974 Dalhousie Concession 9A) in McDonald’s Corners on Saturday November 14th from 9 am to 3 pm. Since 2005, MERA (McDonald’s Corners & Elphin Recreation & Arts) has hosted our Christmas Fair where local artisans offer wonderful and unique items for sale. The Christmas Fair is MERA largest fundraising event of the year and a percentage of vendor fees are donated to MERA. A nutritious light lunch will be provided by the MERA cafe. There will also be a bake sale and a draw featuring donated items from our vendors.
The vendors at this year’s Christmas fair include: Fine Chocolates by Ludwig Ratzinger, Vegan Soaps , Wall Art and Sun catchers by Marlene Keenan, Unique Custom Blends of Spices by Carly’s Spices, Resin and Wood/ Stained Glass by Liana and Taina Sodonis, Cornhusk Dolls by Marilyn Nicholas Dahan, Jewelry by Patti-Jo Wilson of PJ’s Pretties, Handmade Cards and Bookmarks Emily Wilson, Woodturning by Keith Johnson, Woodwork Creations by Barry Russell and Tim Booth, Unique Woven Textiles by The MERA Heritage Weavers and Functional and Decorative Pottery by The MERA Potters.
By shopping at the MERA Christmas Fair you are helping to support your local arts & recreation facility to have music events, workshops, community dinners and much more.
