MERA’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday March 24th from 2:00 to 4:00pm. There will be reports presented by the Chair, Treasurer and representatives from the various membership groups. Members in good standing have voting power at the AGM. To be a member in good standing, memberships are due 30 days before the AGM. CALL FOR NOMINATIONS TO MERA’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS
One important task of the AGM is to elect directors to MERA’s board. Please think about becoming a candidate yourself, or nominating a member of your MERA circle. If you are interested in supporting the life of this community as part of the team working backstage to set agendas and develop programs please put your name forward. Interest, enthusiasm and a 2024 MERA membership are the only prerequisites to serve on the MERA board.

ANKARET DEAN VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD
It’s time to send in your Ankaret Volunteer Award nominations!
Nominations will be due on March 6th.
Nomination forms need to be emailed to meraschoolhouse@gmail.com
All nominations will be presented to the MERA Board of Directors and they will vote and decide who the recipient will be.
The Ankaret Volunteer Award recipient will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on March 23rd.
The nominees must be current MERA members in good standing. This means that the person nominated must be a MERA member by the time the vote is taken on March 6th.
Nominees must have made exceptional contributions to MERA over time, not just the current year, and in a way that benefits the mass of MERA, not just one group.
Nominations can be made by an individual or as a group (please list all people making the nomination).
